Stogie T and Cassper’s Beef Continues

Updated: Sep 13, 2022

Tumi ‘Stogie T’ Molekane has come under criticism after going on stage at the 2017 SA Hip Hop Awards claiming that he had mentored Cassper Nyovest, Ricky Rick and other artists.

Cassper Nyovest later came on stage and clarified Stogie’s claims during his acceptance speech. During his speech Cassper thanked his friends and family then said, "Before I go, Tumi ain't done sh*t for me, bro".

The tension between Cassper and Stogie isn’t new – when Cassper dropped his debut album ‘Tsholofelo’ Stogie T and Amu had criticised the album and said that it was weak and lacked focus on V-Entertainment in 2015. The two rappers have also been throwing shots at each other through their songs. Stogie T recently fired shots during his BET Hip Hop freestyle for the BET Hip Hop Awards.

Ricky Rick took to twitter to tell Stogie T where to get off and said that Stogie needed stop claiming artist’s success.

Ricky continued to tweet that Stogie had doubted his hit ‘Boss Zonke’ before he left Stogie’s record label which he was signed under.

Cassper Nyovest later took to Twitter and said that he meant every word he said.
