Singer, radio and TV personality Unathi Nkayi is set to go on her first tour, which will start on the 18th of August until the 20th of September, as she aims to tour all six provinces. As we all know, Unathi is a multitalented musician who’s also a business woman and knows exactly where her fan base lies, so it is safe to say that we saw this tour coming.
The Brave, True and Strong Tour is aimed at celebrating women, their perseverance as well as the beauty of life which will span at 7 reputable venues across South Africa.
The album was released on 15 September 2017 and the musician has finally decided to opened up to her fans about it in a way that she has never done before. She has said: “The past few years have been both beautiful and challenging, I have taken control of my life and I know what I want to achieve…” She also explains how this album speaks about parts of her life that she has never shared with anyone else before, “This album is the culmination of everything that is happening in my life”.
Since this album’s main focus, besides her own life, is aimed at relating to other women. Unathi has a single that is titled Hallo Sana and this is where she tells a story about a mother who is forced to leave her kids at home for work, mainly to provide for them, which happens to be a pain that a lot of mothers have to endure in their lives, so does she. She also expressed how she has seen her kid’s faces glow whenever she comes back from work, it is very safe to state that they can relate too, because these are the challenges they have to go through every day.
