Whilst Cassper achieved one of his all time dreams, filling up Moses Mabhida Stadium on the 1st of December 2018, the event left a R7 million gaping hole in his pocket! Even though Cassper has been applauded for inspiring thousands of young people to believe in their dreams, his came at a hefty price.
The rapper revealed that he’s in debt due to potential sponsors apparently not keeping their promises and pulling out of the event at the last minute.
“Most often we find ourselves in positions where we need funding, we need sponsorships, from institutions like the government and we were not supported like we should be. For instance, we just came from (Moses) Mabhida and right now we are sitting with R7-million debt", he said.
