The 25th South African Music Awards otherwise known as SAMA’s will be paying tribute to the late rapper HHP alongside other great legends in Mzansi namely Tkzee and Mango Groove.
HHP will be celebrated and remembered for being the first artist to rap over a kwaito beat and the first to have multiple successful sync deals.
Mango Groove which was formed in 1984, will be honored for their outstanding contribution to South African music.
Tkzee will be celebrated for being the best-selling kwaito group.
The two groups and HHP have been great examples of how versatile music can be. Their vibe was truly infectious.
Their music still stands the test of time.
