SAMA25 Top Winners

Sho Madjozi, Sjava and Black Motion came out as one of the SAMA’s top winners at this year's South African Music Awards held in Sun City. The awards began on Friday, with Joyous Celebration winning best-selling artist and best-selling DVD.

The show had six presenters namely Melanie Bala, Bob Mabena, Twasa Seoke, Khuli Chana, Mpho Popps and Nomzamo Mbatha representing a different era of South African music.

Sjava won two awards being the best Afro pop album and the album of the year. Sho Madjozi took home the Female artist of the year and newcomer of the year awards.

Black Motion won for best dance album and the best group/duo of the year, While Nasty C won best hip-hop album and best produced album of the year for Strings and Bling.

Black Coffee who led the awards also won the Male artist of the year. Holley Rey Music took home the Record of the year award.
