DJ Maphorisa and Kabza de Small released the music video for Koko, featuring vocalist, Mhaw Keys.
Koko is the first single from the DJs’ collaborative 12-track EP to have a music video.
The music video for Koko starts off with a Black Consciousness quote stating, “If one is free at heart, no man-made chains can bind one to servitude”.
Throughout the music video, they display archived footage of the apartheid era and the three artists on a snowy mountain side in Lesotho while Mhaw Keys delivers his vocal contributions.
