Updated: Sep 9, 2022

Samkelo Lelethu Mdolomba, also known as Samthing Soweto, is a musician from Soweto, Johannesburg.

Samthing Soweto started his career as one of the founding members of the South African acappella group The Soil. The group released their self-titled debut album in 2011, under record label Native Rhythms. Samthing Soweto left the group, but however is honourably credited for his outstanding vocal appearance, co-writing, composing, and producing 8 of 11 songs on their multi-platinum selling album The Soil.

He has released his second EP titled Isiphithiphithi, following his hit single with the DJ Sun-El Musician called Akanamali in 2017.

The one song that stands out and has received so much love from the EP is Akulaleki, where he plays and showcases his vocal skills.

The EP has already gained so much traction and is on the rise to being the most searched Amapiano EP this week.

A must hear.
