Singer-songwriter Busiswa Gqulu popularly known as Busiswa originally hails from Mthatha in the Eastern Cape. Busi gained publicity after her collaboration with DJ Zinhle on the track “My Name Is” after being discovered by Oskido. Busi would later release her debut album “Highly Favoured” late in 2017, which earned her a nomination for Best Female Artist at the SAMA’s. Earlier this year Busiswa was also part of “Black Is King”, an American Musical film and visual album executively produced, written and directed by Beyoncé.
